A beautiful selection of all blog posts related to yearly holidays!

Happy New Years Eve everyone! Let’s dive into 11 things I learnt this year. This post includes subjects about care, mental health etc.

I hope you all had a splendid Christmas filled with Joy and happiness, I know I did. Now, 2018 has been a tough one, I’ve made new friends, I’ve lost friends and I’ve learnt from my mistakes.

11 – Mental Health

I’ve learnt that my mental health is just as important as my physical health.

10 – Not to care

I’ve learnt not to care about others who don’t care much for me. (I’m still trying to get my head around caring for others who have no care at all for me).

9 – Not everyone is out to get me

I’ve learnt that not every single person is against me. I have sometimes really bad paranoia about someone hating me for no reason.

8 – Kind people in the world

I’ve met some amazing new friends this year, they’re an amazing bunch and they have made me smile, laugh and learn from past mistakes

7 – Spend time with family.

Spending time with family is important to me, this year I’ve decided to spend more time with my family because they are important and I love them so much.

6 – Overnight, achievement

This year I learned that nothing can be achieved over night. When I first started my blogging seriously this year, I’ve always anticipated a hefty viewing and for more people to recognize my blog.

5 – Try and try again

If you want to achieve something you’ve got to keep trying, try, try and try again. If I didn’t try, I wouldn’t have got my blog post published on Mental Health foundation (that’s coming January 14 2019.

4 – Don’t rely on men

Men and relationships are not important at all, I learnt that being single is the best, if you think it’s not the best. Make it the best!

3 – Calmzone

I learnt of the fantastic website the CalmZone, they are absolutely amazing at providing support between the hours of 5.00 PM and 12.00 AM GMT.

2 – Money. Ew!

I’ve learnt this year that Money IS NOT IMPORTANT! It does not bring happiness!

1 – Caring for others

I’ve learnt that caring for others that need it is quite rewarding. So whenever you see someone who is struggling. Help them!

Have an amazing new years! Here’s to 2019!! And more things I’m about to learn! Haha! Prosecco time for me! I can’t wait to get absolutely hammered. Oops!

New Years Eve traditions

Hello everyone, new years eve is quickly approaching and believe me, I can’t wait for 2018 to be over!

There’s nothing more exciting about getting prepared to party and celebrate the end of either an amazing or dreadful year. For me, I’ll be saying goodbye to a meh kind of year, It’s been okay, but it’s also been bad. So It’s kinda in the middle.

Here’s my new years eve traditions:

My tradition on New Years Eve is to go out with my family and purchase a bunch of party food. Iceland is the go to store for all this yummy party food!

Alcohol PINK GIN!

This year, my go to drink for New Years eve would be Pink gin and lemonade with a LOT, i mean A LOT of ice. There’s nothing more refreshing than Pink gin and a lot of ice. Normally on New Years Eve I drink Strongbow dark fruits or any other kind of cider.

Celebrating with loved ones

Depending on what’s happening at the end of the year I normally go out with my friends and we normally do a small pub crawl, although you can never beat the enjoyment of partying and chilling with close family on New Years eve.

Falling asleep before 12

LOL, this has actually happened before, I was that drunk one night, I can’t remember which year, but I fell asleep before 12 and missed the fireworks.

New outfit

I like to treat myself to a brand new outfit for New Years Eve, I might do that this year, although I have a splendid outfit for this occasion.

There you go folks! There’s my New Years Traditions. I hope you have a really good end to the year party! Please tag me in your new years photos!

See you next year! HAHA.

It’s CHRISTMAS EVE! OH MY GOD, how fast has this year gone? Unbelievably quick and I can’t believe I’m going to be 21 next year.

Christmas is a positive time of the year, however, it can be a bit stressful to some people who may have Mental Health issues. There is obviously more positiveness than there are cons, unfortunately, they are there. It’s a pain in the butt that Christmas can sometimes affect someone’s Mental Health.

In my Podcast which is coming out 25 December at 5.00 PM GMT, Me and my friend Charlie wen’t into a short discussion about Mental Health on Christmas. Although I’d love to talk more about it in more depth.

Christmas anxiety.

I think Christmas can sometimes make me anxious, I worry about buying others presents when realistically I can’t afford it. So this year I’ve told family and friends NOT to buy for me as I cannot buy back. Christmas has been really tough this year because of Universal Credit. It’s a struggle, Universal Credit has caused me many problems throughout this year, I’ve been waiting so long for psychology to begin, while I’ve been waiting I decided I am not ready to return to work. I have an assessment with Universal Credit on the 29 December to determine whether or not I am fit to return to work. I do get a bit of Money from blogging through Advertisements on my Website,

The advertisements are provided by Google & are 100% safe.

Christmas can be stressful

Christmas can be incredibly stressful for people, they have to worry about a-lot of things. You have to worry about what to get, have to worry about Money and if you can afford it, you have to worry about when to go shopping around your working hours, you worry if you’ll have enough time to even shop because you are working way too much. I feel incredibly sorry for NHS staff who have to work throughout Christmas. How do they even get time to go shopping?

Will your kids be impressed?

Parents sometimes worry about buying for their children as some children out there are ungrateful and can cause their parents a lot of grief for getting them the wrong gift or not an acceptable item. I remember one Christmas my auntie bought my brother a ben 10 action figure, bearing in mind my brother has Autism and he disliked Ben 10 so he threw it in the bin. Oops! Now my auntie always makes sure that she gets him the right gift.

Christmas can be enjoyable

Despite all these cons, Christmas can be an enjoyable time of the year, family get togethers, a sh*t load of chocolate, a sh*t load of alcohol, splendid Christmas music, Christmas decor and trees.

Opening new gifts

Opening new gifts is one cool thing to do on Christmas, it’s so exciting to find out what you’ve got and what you asked Santa for.

Christmas movies with family.

One of the nicest things on Christmas is sitting on the sofa watching Christmas movies with the family. Heating on full blast and loads of Christmas snacks, its so delightful.

This post is getting incredibly long now. I hope everyone has a lovely and enjoyable Christmas filled with happiness and joy! The next blog post will be up on December 31. Taking some time off blogging to enjoy time with my family.

Plus due to some complications with moving to a new host. As a result of this issue my main website won’t be relaunched as of yet. I am still awaiting more information from my provider, so I’ll let you know if anything changes.

Hello everyone,

I’ve had so many new ideas for blog posts and I just can’t stop writing. In today’s post, I’d like to share with you my Christmas eve routine and traditions.

Have you got any traditions that your family uphold? Let me know in the comments.

Christmas Eve is one of the most exciting days of the year. We’re all so ready for Christmas to finally be over, but as for siblings and other young people, you can’t control your excitement! Even now as an adult the excitement is real. The magic is still there regardless of age.

I didn’t touch upon this in my podcast Christmas Special which airs Christmas day. Are you going to be listening? I’ve always wanted to share my Christmas routine and traditions, so here goes nothing! I can’t wait to share the Christma Podcast special with everyone!

So as soon as it hits 12 o’clock on Christmas Eve Eve and it becomes Christmas Eve I’ve already become a 100 times more excited. I will attempt to go to sleep but that isn’t happening. I can’t sleep regardless of if it’s Christmas or not, so as soon as I get to sleep and wake up Christmas Eve morning, I blast Christmas music and sometimes wear a Christmas jumper too. I also have a little dance with Siblings to keep them occupied and not focused on the dreaded time going past, because whats worse on Christmas Eve is watching the time go by. It goes incredibly slow.

While I was working I’d always get up and dread Christmas Eve because most of the time I’d be working, but the atmosphere between staff was always so magical. It was a pain in the butt to work on Christmas Eve… because you get so jealous when you see everyone the other side of the bar getting absolutely hammered. This year I don’t have to endure that pain, but I do miss bar work sometimes, but I love blogging more!

But, On Christmas Eve I’d normally see my family and my Mom would always put on a Christmas spread in which we can all indulge in Christmas snacks before we all hit the hay. Another family tradition is getting new PJS on Christmas Eve. They’re always so comfortable. Do you share this tradition?

I also can’t resist a tipple on Christmas Eve, I used to drink Advocaat with lemonade which creates Snowball. Jesus, that drink is absolutely delightful.

Nothing relaxes me more than having a super warm shower before I go to bed, It makes me extremely tired and it does sometimes help in getting me to sleep too.

As I have younger siblings I normally help my Mom bring all the prezzies down and put out the “stuff” for Santa, we normally put out a mince pie and Whiskey. Santa loves Whiskey.

Did I mention doing all of the above drunk? Lmao, of course we’re all pi**ed as a fart, because who on earth doesn’t have a drink on Christmas Eve? Well, my family do and believe me, we all love drinking. The main drinks for Christmas Eve is Advocaat and Lemonade which creates a lovely alcoholic drink called Snowball, believe me. You’ll love it!

After everything’s complete and all the presents are under the tree we all head to bed (my siblings are already asleep by when we go to sleep).

But before I go to sleep I normally catch up with Zoella and her Vlogmas vlogs. They are always so therapeutic.

What is your Christmas Tradition? Let me know in the comments below! or Tweet at me Rhys_Smart or Rhys_Blog.

Merry Christmas ALL! 🙂

Hello everyone, there is just 4 days to go until Christmas Day. Are you excited? Now, you can never be too old for a list of what presents I’d like. Let me know in the comments what you want to open on the big day in your own list.

Are you looking forward to the podcast episode which is going live on Christmas day at 5.00 PM GMT, Get more information.

Being an adult now and being able to buy my own stuff doesn’t really make the day as exciting or magical. When I was a child, I’d be super excited right about now and I wouldn’t be able to sleep AT ALL.

I did a Christmas list last year when I attempted blogmas. That failed! However next year I am going to pre-write and think of blog posts to do next Christmas. (Yeah I am already thinking of next Christmas).

Anyway here’s my Christmas list of 2018!

Positive Mental Health

Yes I get it, this is not a materialistic item you can get for Christmas. But one thing I would love is positive mental health.

Xbox one X

So 2019 will hopefully be the year in which Halo Infinite comes out. I don’t have an Xbox, but I am hoping 343 Industries will release it on PC!

Sh*t loads of chocolate

As I am a big lover of food, I’d love to stuff my face full of loads of chocolate on Christmas day!

To be successful

Now 2019 is hopefully going to be a good year for myself, I have my article going live on Mental Health foundation on January 14 2019. Not heard what time it’s going live, however, you’ll be the first to know.

Enjoy this blog? Please spread the word :)
